Maria Edgeworth letters and engraving of her house, circa 1815-1835.

Maria Edgeworth writes to Mrs. William Griffith, Burlington, N.J., ca. 1815 or 1816, inviting her to visit, describing her family, and including a drawing of their house by her sister Honora [later engraved, included here]; to William Stuart, Archbishop of Armagh, 19 July 1818, forwarding some pages of her father's Memoirs for approval. To Captain [Francis Bond] Head, 18 February 1827, complimenting him on his book, Rough notes taken during some rapid journeys across the Pampas and among the Andes; to Mrs. Eliza Fletcher, 7 February 1835, responding to an inquiry concerning the letters or papers of Sir Humphry Davy.
